[Two] Lure Fish Bar (Prince & Mercer) for the last day of NYC Restaurant Week, though it was recently announced that most restaurants are continuing the Prix Fixe Restaurant Week deals until Labor Day. The lunch prix fixe price was $24.07 for appetizer + entree + dessert.
Me: Half-dozen fresh shucked oysters, Steamed Branzino/Ponzu/Oyster Mushrooms, Coconut Tapioca w/ Tropical Sorbet
B: New England Clam Chowder, Sushi Combo, Lemon Pudding Cake/Berry Compote/Raspberry Sorbet
[Four] NYC Public Library detour during the walk up to Sixth Ave and 50th. A beautiful (and free!) landmark I never had the chance to explore in past years. Highlight: Seeing the Declaration of Independence documents.

NYPL Movie Appearances:
- "With great power comes great responsibility" -- Uncle Ben to
Peter Parker in 2002's Spider-Man
- 1978's The Wiz's lion who springs to life and joins Dorothy and Toto
- Where Carrie was supposed to marry Big in 2008's Sex and the City

[Five] Modern Mueseum of Art aka the MoMA - got in for free! because of Thailan's awesome corporate member discount. Just for a future heads up though, the MoMA is FREE after 4PM on Fridays because of Target's Free Friday Nights. However, because of membership status, we did get the perk of previewing the new special exhibit on the top floor: Ron Arad's No Discipline.

Frida Kahlo + Me.
P.S. The older couple in front of me got in line to take advantage of the photo-op like everyone else. I watched them proceed to take pictures of themselves in the mirror, completely cropping Frida out and missing the entire point. What. The. Heck.

Don't remember the artist nor the name of the painting, but I do remember that it was painted some time in the 1950's. Snapped a pic because of the primordial emoticon (pink box, upper center)! -_-

[Six] Running at Riverside Park in West Harlem.
[Seven] Sea Thai (Berry & Wythe) in Williamsburg for some midnight dinner. Hipster feeling, house DJ, loud speakers, dark lights, great decor, and cheap eats. It's also the location where the beginning of Garden State was filmed (the "vietnamese restaurant in LA" that Zach Braff is working at). Though we couldn't hear each other over the bass and electronic vibes from the speakers overhead, the food spoke for itself. Red chili crispy duck, Massaman curry, fried calamari, Pattaya Noodles.

By far my favorite painting at the MoMA.

[Nine] Park for drinks and dancing.
[Ten] HOME.
